The Urban Environment Committee of Helsinki Municipality has approved the objectives and goals outlined in the idea and concept plan for Töölönlahdenpuisto.

The objectives will serve as guidelines for the future development of the park.

The concept planning process began with a workshop involving key stakeholders, leading to a unified vision for the park’s future. Based on the feedback, the plan aims to preserve essential landscape and natural features while enhancing the park’s spatial, vegetative, and functional qualities.

The four main priorities for the park’s development are to:

• Preserve natural features and increase green space
• Establish the park as a year-round landmark for Helsinki
• Enhance opportunities for recreation and well-being
• Support diverse experiences and events

The plan is developed by MASU Planning in close collaboration with the Municipality.
