24 Nov 2023 Like in a fairytale, all the effort pays off at the end
We are thrilled to announce our victory at the Danish Landscape Award 2023 for the HC Andersen’s Garden in Odense. The awards ceremony, held at Copenhagen’s Vartov building on November 23, recognized our commitment to innovative landscape architecture.
The jury emphasized the qualities of creating exceptional landscape architecture that merges into surrounding city spaces and building design. The jury’s words resonated with our vision for HC Andersen’s Garden, highlighting the storytelling and exceptional qualities of the new city’s recreational space.
This recognition goes beyond professional success; it underscores MASU Planning’s commitment to enhancing diverse atmospheres and identities within our designs.
We sincerely thank the jury, fellow finalists, and the team that made the HC Andersen’s Museum possible: Kengo Kuma & Associates, Cornelius Vöge and CW Arkitekter, Jesper Kongshaug lighting design, Søren Jensen engineers, OK Nygaard entrepreneurs, Odense Museums, the client Odense Municipality and donator A.P Møller Foundation.
